Fukujusô (japanese adonis) - 福寿 草

It grows from January, adding color to winter landscapes with its yellow petals.

It emerges from the frosted ground (often covered with snow), it is a plant that naturally thrives more in cold regions, in mountain forests, along river banks and on hills.

It opens and closes depending on the sunlight, it closes for the night, then reopens the next morning to follow the course of the sun again. It is a very poisonous plant.

But it is now rare to find it in its natural state because they are in danger of extinction. They can be found in botanical gardens.
