Imagawayaki - 今川焼き

Ingredients : 
For 4 imagawayaki
- 120g of flour
- 20g of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- yeast
- 1 egg
- 150mL of whole milk
- 200g of anko (sweet red bean paste)
- vegetable oil

Preperation : 
- Mix the egg and sugar, then add the milk and honey and whisk everything.
- Sift the flour and add to the mixture, along with the yeast.
- Mix well and leave for 15 minutes.
- Slowly heat the Imagawayaki pan or a standard pan
low heat. 
- Take the anko and form 4 round discs.
- Grease the pan with vegetable oil.
- Pour 2 circles of dough, to form 2 pancakes, then place 2 circles of anko on top. Let cook for 3 minutes.
- Meanwhile pour 2 more circles of dough and leave to cook for 2 minutes.
- After cooking, using a spatula, take the pancakes with anko and flip them over the other 2 pancakes.
- Press a little on it and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Leave to cool on a plate, and make your 2 other Imagawayaki
You can also replace the anko with pastry cream.
